I'm excited to be launching a series of limited edition art prints of my watercolour and ink drawings inspired by a common thread between Māori whakataukī and Russian proverbs I grew up with. The drawings weave together the nuggets of wisdom from these two cultures to help my daughters discover the values, tikanga and life lessons passed down by their ancestors. At the heart of these sayings is a deep connection to the natural world that’s more relevant than ever to finding harmony in our busy modern lives.
